Privacy notice
Who is responsible
Noel Kim runs Tidemark by Quelris and is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: hello@quelris.dev.
This notice covers tidemark.quelris.dev. The Quelris privacy notice covers quelris.dev.
What I collect
- The application form: your name, work email, site URL and what you want to rank for.
- A rate-limit counter: when you send the form, a salted hash of your IP address is stored with a count for about an hour, then deleted. The address itself is not stored.
- Email you send me: your address, the message and anything you attach.
- Server logs: when you open a page, the hosting provider handles technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested.
This site has no accounts, cookies, analytics, advertising or third-party scripts, and its scripts store nothing in your browser.
Why
- To review your application and reply to it. You ask for this by applying.
- To keep the form working and free of abuse, which is my legitimate interest in running it.
I do not add your address to a mailing list, sell your information or share it for advertising.
How long I keep it
- Applications are deleted automatically 12 months after you send them, or sooner if you ask.
- The notification email about your application and any emails you and I exchange stay in my mailbox for as long as I need them to answer you, and no longer than 2 years after your last message.
- If you become a client, I keep the records that contract and tax law require for as long as they require it.
- Server logs are kept by Cloudflare for the period it sets, as described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Who handles it for me
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, the form and the database that stores applications.
- Zoho Corporation: email hosting for quelris.dev addresses, including the notification about your application.
These providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States.
Your rights and deletion
To have your application deleted, email hello@quelris.dev from the address you applied with, or tell me which site you applied for. You can also ask to see or correct what I hold about you, or ask me to stop using it. I will reply within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
